Sorry I haven't posted much here, I just haven't been feeling like playing with the dolls lately :( I still like them I just don't really feel like picking them up and photographing them I guess? I'm just going to give it some time I think.

For now I've been working on smaller dolls that I don't have to worry about 'ruining' like Monster High and Obitsus. Mostly just making little characters from things, or nothing at all! I guess I'll cross post those things here too? I've been posting more on Tumblr and my Blogger for now, so if you're interested go check those out!

I'm just having trouble getting up to things right now. Even when I manage to get myself up and working I find myself unsatisfied with anything that I do :( I just want to feel better.

So, I don't know how I feel about this little guy, I'm still not convinced that he's meant to be that cowardly lion?

I'm easing back into normal things like photos and ceramics, but I still feel pretty tired. I had the worst migraine last night, so I basically just sat around and was sad for myself while trying not to blow chunks :(

My dad got a cute little bonsai tree though as a get well gift from someone, I thought it was pretty cute!

So my dad finally came home from the hospital yesterday! (I'm ready to crash)

Sorry I haven't been around, I'm just so tired :(

My father's still in the hospital unfortunately, and going there 2-3 times each day is getting pretty exhausting, not to mention leaving me very little time for anything else each day. It sounds like a lot to go 2-3 times a day, but he's been really depressed and upset, and the only thing that makes him feel even a little bit better is having someone there. If we aren't there we get calls from him saying he wants us to come to "see us one last time" because he's sure that he's dying.

Every day they say he'll be released tomorrow or the next day, but then every day there's just one more little problem that keeps him from being able to leave. No serious complications or anything though, just things like anemia, atrial fibrillation, drug reactions etc.

It's just so exhausting to go and have to keep telling him that really, he's not dying, being in the hospital does not mean that. :( Sigh.

Sorry I've been away, I've been spending most of my time at the hospital with my father. He had his heart surgery on Monday, which thankfully went well! So my family spent all day Monday in the hospital waiting room, waiting for news from the surgeon (left home 8am, got home 7pm). We've been taking 'shifts' at the hospital since then, just going and staying with him, since he seems much happier when someone's there with him.

He gets home tomorrow if all goes well, so I think we'll all be able to rest and relax a little bit more then.

I really haven't done a single thing this week though... I got a doll in the mail a few days ago and finally picked it up today. I took half an hour to work on it when I should be working on commissions, just opening the eyes and wiping the face up. I kind of ran out of steam after that x( Everything is just exhausting to me right now.

I'm thinking he might be good for the cowardly lion, but can't quite decide if I would like him better just as a regular YoSD. It's frustrating 8(
