I'm counting down the days until winter break. My last final ends at 6PM on the 9th, after that, a month of freedom(and Christmas)!!! My current plans are to finish Poe, give Leviathan his tattoo, and attempt some sculpting for a little scarecrow. Of course I always plan so much for the winter break, and never get it all done ^^;

I'm debating trying to dye this dress, thinking maybe it will make me like it better?

Pix is back(mostly)! I got some unexpected free time last night and decided to work on her, finally ^^; Her and Poe have been sitting in pieces in my basement for a few months while I tried to find time to work on them. I finished work on Pix, and started on Poe so hopefully he'll get finished in the next few weeks too, I'm sure Pix is lonely without her brother.

I think she really needs eyelashes though. And clothes, but for now I wanted to show off her pretty, subtle paint job. I'm sure photobucket will get to some of these pictures though =T

Well, I went chopping at Virendra's wig last night. It's bothering me. I am not a hair stylist.

I guess I just keep thinking he needs a sort of overhaul. Part of me wants to try a new head for him, another part just thinks he needs a new face up and a new pair of eyes. I guess I'll see if I can't find someone who thinks they can paint him for me, since I think(like with Nero) I've just painted him so many times I just can't see him anymore. Maybe I'll try making a pair of eyes for him, we'll have to see how that goes. I also think he needs new tattoos, I tire of these, they look bad to me.

I'm also not sure if I'm saving up for a Supia girl(to try a new head for V, and get Lyubov a body) or a Lusion doll =X

I don't know what happened, but first I couldn't get to sleep last night until two, and then I woke up at five with TERRIBLE neck pain :C

I dozed for a while, until about 7 when it got bad enough that lying down hurt and had to get up. I don't know what happened though in those three hours I was asleep to make it this bad though T_T; I went ice skating, but that was Friday and I didn't even fall or anything, so I have really no idea what the problem is. It hurts right between my neck and shoulders, and I can't do anything besides look straight ahead and keep my arms at my sides D: Basically if I use any muscle in my arms, back or neck I get a terrible pain. BAH. ;_;



(Sorry if this post is a little bad/random, I'm really tired and there's no position I can be in for it not to hurt, so I'm kind of fizzed out.)

I'm considering getting some YoSD fukubukuro from Dollheart since Bonnie and Wednesday have by far the fewest clothes and shoes of my dolls.

I hate it when I see pictures of a Lusion doll on DoA and it makes me want one D: I'd probably already have one if I weren't so unsure of the Dahlia head. I like her, but I'm not sure I love her, I'd really like to see one in person first =/ I guess I'm waiting to see if they release a new sculpt, I know they said they were going to do a boy too, so maybe that's coming first. Grr... such an expensive doll.

I know a lot of people don't like the Lusion doll, they thing a doll that size would be creepy to have around. In some respects I think that too, but for some reason the idea of a child doll that large appeals to me so, so much. Any thoughts about her besides 'she's creepy'?


In other news, Lee got his proper ears in the mail :O He's such a cutie, SD13 bodies are awfully snuggly. I got some new fabric to make some more clothes for him, hopefully over Thanksgiving I'll have the time.

So here are some acceptable pictures of Leviathan, he's got a difficult to photograph face =X Once he has bigger eyes I think it'll be better at least. I've taken to just calling him Lee, since 'Leviathan' is kind of a mouthful. I tried making him robes, they kind of just look like a dress right now... anyone have any good reference images for fantasy robes, or better yet patterns? ^^; I am not very good at sewing.

So I got to open Leviathan today, sadly though the seller forgot to send his elf ears =X I did his face up though, and I'm pretty happy with it, though I still need to do his scar and tattoo. Maybe next weekend, I need to unwind this weekend x_x; I borrowed these eyes from Kaida's commission, his eyes will be the same, just a bit bigger though, they're not here yet.

Soo... these pictures are really terrible. I don't have an excuse, I tried and it wasn't happening. I guess I just don't know how to photograph him yet.

Holy. Crap. This week has just been a flurry of poo. I'm so glad that tomorrow's Friday so it can be over, and I have Leviathan to look forward to. Just not his eyes, I don't think they've even been shipped yet. I won't even going into listing what has been wrong with every day of this week, I just want to forget about it and do nothing for the weekend.

I used to know the people that made these songs, but Emily Henry(the first song) was the only one who was very humble and not condescending, in my opinion.

So, I had a long weekend(both Friday classes canceled), and although it was nice having long weekends just makes it harder to come back =/ Sadness. But I counted, and there's five and a half weeks left of classes(including this week), so winter break is at least in wishing distance.

Leviathan's in the US, so he'll arrive sometime this week, and I'll have him Friday :) His wig arrived and... it's giant, like, there is enough hair in there for two wigs. I'll need to figure something to make it at least borderline reasonable as a legitimate wig and not a joke ^^;

Anyways, here's a little dumb photo story with Cicero and Timmy, for Halloween I suppose. I have an idea for a continuation of this one, I'll just have to shoot it.

Sooo I've managed a way to pay off Leviathan now so he's in the mail on the way to me now ^^; He probably won't be here this weekend, but next, but still looking super forward to him! :3 I'm thinking a navy and brown themed face up(though I don't recall seeing any examples of any such thing...), but I can't decide if I should go with dark eyes and pale lips, pale eyes and dark lips, or just overall pale ^^;

I dunno what prompted this photo story, it's just something that popped into my head for no good reason. Not to mention I've been slacking on that photo story pledge I made =X

A Volks Kaelin!!! :D :D :D

Someone PMed me about a lightly modded one today for layaway until the end of November and I took it! Yay! ^^ So hopefully I'll have him before then, I'll surely do my best to scrape up any funds to get it paid as soon as possible.

So yay, Leviathan will be coming! I think I've picked his wig(Monique Mallory, black) and am working on finding his eyes(looking for 18mm really pale blue, with pale blue pupil?) ^^;

Well, my fall break is over, it was too short :C I have a midterm on Thursday, and a report next Wednesday, and I'm sure one thing after another after that until finals. I think I counted 9 weeks until winter break. I think I'm tired of this semester.

I tried putting up a WTB for a Volks Kaelin, though I don't know if I'll get any replies since I'm looking to pay $1000(for just the doll, not fullset) and will need layaway until the end of November =X Don't lose anything trying, right? I'm anxious for Leviathan.

I had some ideas for photo stories after some fun conversations at the doll meet on Saturday, but just didn't get around to doing them =T Maybe this weekend.

So here's all the jewelry, I know it's just one big picture, so it's kind of hard to tell what anything is, but PLEASE if you see anything that looks remotely interesting to you let me know, and I'll get you a better picture :)

About 1/2 of this stuff is sterling silver, if it looks like jade it probably is. There's some ivory in there too. Things that are in this lot: Necklaces, bracelets, earrings(for non pierced ears), pins, belt buckles(I think that's what they are?) and plenty of other assorted things ^^; If you want to know what any of it is just comment and I'll let you know. It's all rather beautiful and detailed. Most of it should be from around the 1940's from Mexico, Honduras or mainland China.

I don't have prices for anything, so just make an offer! We'll be glad to have it gone ^^
