So I'm back from Otakon, what a draining thing x_x Late nights, long days, but fun. I'm currently exhausted, I'm glad conventions only last three days. I have a little Xing photo story with Britt's pukis(man do I love playing with pukis), but I'm not awake enough to post it yet D: Hopefully tomorrow.

So for now here's just the two pictures I commissioned for my brother, since he was nice enough to drop me off Friday and pick me up Sunday. I had to get him something at least, and I really kind of like them myself ;P

Well, in the past few days I've finally gotten some time to work on my own dolls a little(commissions have been a little crazy D:). I redid Nero's face up since the eyebrows were killing me and... I don't know, I really don't like his new face up, I'm thinking it's one of those things that I'm TOO familiar with him, so I don't know how to make a change for the better in his face up. So, my question is, is there anyone on my flist who does face ups and might want to do a face up 'trade'? Meaning I send Nero to you with some bare instructions, and you send someone to me to paint and we count it even? I dunno, maybe it's a terrible idea and nobody wants to do it, I'm just a little stuck on Nero.

Otakon is coming up on Friday too ^^; I don't know who will be there, but I'll be there hanging around with Britt, bringing Axel, Maeron, little Bonnie, Wednesday and Xing.

I also redid Virendra, since again, I was starting to hate his face up. I also eherm-ha... made him a 'wig'. I don't know if you can call it a wig, it's either a masterpiece or a monstrosity, I'm not sure which category it falls under at the moment. It needs to be a little darker, but I didn't have the right color dye for it so for now it's just this cherry red. Who knows, maybe it will grow on me xD

So shockingly I've already got a new computer ^^; I went to the store to look at it, and it was a much better deal than I had found online so I came home with it, yay! Got a Sony vaio, I"m hopeful that it'll last me a long time, and the power cable doesn't crap out.

I've been working hard on a lot of commissions, since first came the swine flu setback, then there was the computer crap out. Finally I hope things are back to normal(until Otakon that is ^^;).

No news on the Zaoll secret project shipping, trust me though, you'll hear about it. I'm excited!

So, well, hrm, my computer is dying =X It's been dying for a while now actually, but yesterday my second power cable gave out(damnit HP, why do your power cords suck!) and since it's $100 for a new one it may just be more worth it to just get a new computer. Hm =/ So I'm going through the lengthy process of trying to pick a nice new one, since I use my computer so much it's important to me to have a good one that will last.

So. Unfortunately this means no pictures for a little while D: No way to really upload anything, though I may make feeble attempts in a few days.

In better news I ordered the dolls for the Zaoll secret project yesterday! I'm hopeful dollmore will ship them soon :) Got a lot of stuff to make that I can't until they get here!

Anyways, I'll be around, just not nearly as much as normal =T

I'm so tired, I feel like Bonnie. Since I've been away for a few days I thought I should have some pictures to post at least. I'm back home now at least, although my father is still sick, and still touching everything in the house.

I've been stripping wallpaper... for what feels like nonstop... since I left. I will be making enough for my Zaoll secret project out of it though, maybe I'll be able to get them before Otakon, though it's unlikely since that's just two weeks away. Either way, I'm getting them before I get my Akando, I think I would like them more.

So... here's Bonnie, maybe tomorrow I'll be able to work up enough energy to finish that photo story I started before swine flu hit. I'm ordering her body September 1st!

Hrm. Found out this evening that my dad has swine flu. So me and my mother are staying with my cousins for a few days until he starts to feel better, and is hopefully no longer contagious. My mother wouldn't be able to recover I don't think from a bad illness at the moment, so she really can't afford to be sick, and wouldn't go without me.

So, I may not be able to check the flist, comments or anything :C I'll just have to see how it goes, until my dad gets better. I may be able to get my computer to some internet tomorrow, since I brought a few dolls with me to continue photo stories, but I'm just going to have to play it by ear ^^; I'll post with news when I have it!

And you thought I was done with the photo stories, I'm still trying to keep up my little resolution. My rule is that unless there's something new to photograph(face up, clothes, etc) it has to be a photo story ;P Here's my new purse, it's just Yo sized!

Geez, I don't know what happened to me today, I just completely ran out of energy past noon x_x; I guess it's just the post vacation tiredness. I managed not to take purse pictures today, but Xing pictures since I can't decide which pair of eyes I got him I like best. I don't know what happened with his right eye, all the pairs of eyes I put in kept drifting out a little ^^; I'll make sure they're in there solid when I decide what pair.

Well, we came back a day early from the beach to avoid the Sunday rush back to the DC area over the Bay bridge. Part of me is sad to give up basically an entire day of vacation, the other part is glad that 3.5 hour car ride wasn't any longer than it already was. I brought Wednesday with me, I would have brought Xing but his new pairs of eyes hadn't come yet :C But they're here now, and I can't choose between the three pairs I got him, so I'll probably post pictures tomorrow asking for opinions.

I did a lot of outlet shopping, there's a giant outlet mall there which I love and got some really good deals there :) I got a lot of things, but one thing I'm really happy with is a new bag I got. It's a Kate Spade one, it's so cute, it's the shape of a mini bowling ball bag ^^ It was originally $375, but I got it for $150, so I count it as a win. It was one of those things I saw it in the store one day, saw the original price tag and nearly fainted, but couldn't get it out of my head and had to go back to it. There will probably be doll pictures with it.

I'm also planning an Akando, I'm thinking of names for him, since I've got names for the Zaolls(Angelica and Annabelle). Unfortunately, a name that I thought of is apparently already 'taken'. I'm not a music buff by any means, since I don't listen to the radio, but apparently 'Matthew Bellamy' is a fairly famous person? I don't know, usually stuff like that wouldn't bother me, but I do know it would get to me after a while if people kept telling me how I named my doll after someone famous. I may just use the name anyways, since he would either be 'Matt' or 'Bellamy'.

Well, I guess I can't complain too much about today :C It wasn't the worst day ever or anything, I've just been having a lot of trouble staying cheerful. Especially when there was a new commission complication, that really killed me... I still don't really have any drive to want to paint dolls yet, I think I just hadn't 'recovered' from the last unhappy commission.

I did get a little trim though with my hair, I got bangs, so there were pictures. And here's one of them, I thought it was close to the right amount of doofy for me.

Here's more with the photo stories, unfortunately I had a splitting headache while taking the pictures so they're kind of a step back from my progress. I forget to drink during the summer and get lots of headaches as such, so I forget to drink any water until like 3PM at which point I feel like crap and have to just chug stuff =T

Wednesday finally got a proper wig though! The mohair I got is super awesome, but I also got an 11x11" piece =X My brain for some reason didn't tell me that would be TOO MUCH, oh well, more fur for other occasions. It's nice super thick stuff too, so Wednesday's got giganto-hair xD I got some wefts too to make a longer portion on it, but I think it's actually quite long enough as it is, the mohair is really quite long too. I'll probably take pictures tomorrow, but I am waiting on some proper clothes for him to arrive, so I'll have to decide if I should wait for those before taking pictures of him. He's a cutie though <3(little boys are allowed to look like little girls, right?)

Well, I had to take some time for myself today after the mini breakdown yesterday. So I got the Aletheia head in the mail today, it's actually in pretty bad condition that wasn't stated in the auction, but I'm happy since I only paid $40 for it :) I think her name is Chloe, but I couldn't really find a good wig or eyes for her, what do you guys thing, this wig/eye combo work? Dark eyes didn't work for her, and neither did dark wigs.

There's something about the Notdoll girls, I know they're ugly, in my brain I know that. But when I look at them sometimes I think they're just really really pretty, in their own way of course ^^; I'm fairly certain she's the one Cheshiretiffy owned a long time ago too, since her teeth were modded on.

Well, it didn't occur to me until just now writing this entry that I already kind of broke my little photo resolution by just taking boring pictures with nothing happening, argh Dx Well... there were just pictures to show off the face up, so I think pictures to show off face ups are the exception now.

So I decided after I had worked on some repair commissions today, and can't do anything until tomorrow(milliput curing) I may as well repaint Lyubov who's been waiting since December. That face up she had before had problems :| I'm much happier with it now though! I did try all my wigs on her though and didn't like any of them, what's her hair color...?
